I use a rating system of 0 to 5. Although rather arbitrary, it'll give some basis for comparison.

4.5 - 5 = stronger side of great

4 - 4.4 = weaker side of great

3.5 - 3.9 = stronger side of good

3 - 3.4 = weaker side of good

2.5 - 2.9 = stronger side of okay

2 - 2.4 = weaker side of okay

1.5 - 1.9 = stronger side of poor

1 - 1.4 = weaker side of poor

<.9 = not suitable for eardrums
